The Golden State Warriors, despite Andrew Wiggins entering the first year of a substantial four-year, $109 million contract, are reportedly considering exploring the trade market for the forward.

Insider Marc Stein suggests that the pairing of Wiggins and Jonathan Kuminga on the court has proven ineffective.

With the Warriors placing significant value on Kuminga as a key player for the future, the possibility of Wiggins being traded is gaining traction.

In a recent #thisleague UNCUT podcast, Stein stated, “There’s an anticipation now that the Warriors will be open to trading Andrew Wiggins because Wiggins and Kuminga have, when they’ve played together, the Warriors would be the first to tell you it hasn’t gone well,” providing insights into the team’s perspective.

Andrew Wiggins, currently averaging 11.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 26 minutes per game this season, has faced a demotion to the bench by head coach Steve Kerr. Despite starting 22 of 32 games, Wiggins finds himself at a crossroads in Golden State.
