CJ McCollum ignited the New Orleans Pelicans (22-15) with 30 points as they cruised to a commanding 133-100 victory over the Sacramento Kings (21-14) on Sunday.

Jonas Valanciunas contributed a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Brandon Ingram also played a pivotal role, chipping in 15 points for the Pelicans’ offensive onslaught.

The Pelicans maintained their perfect record against the Kings this season, securing their fourth consecutive win in the head-to-head matchups.

Despite missing Zion Williamson due to a right quad contusion and Jose Alvarado sidelined with a non-COVID illness, the Pelicans demonstrated their depth and resilience.

Trey Murphy’s 3-pointer early in the fourth quarter further widened the gap, putting the Pelicans ahead by a staggering 50 points at 112-62. Both teams opted to rest their starters in the final quarter.

Domantas Sabonis and Kevin Heurter were the top scorers for Sacramento with 17 points each.
