The Los Angeles Lakers (17-19) find themselves in a challenging stretch, suffering a 127-113 defeat against the Memphis Grizzlies (12-23), marking their fourth consecutive loss and the 10th in the last 13 games.

Despite the Lakers’ recent struggles, head coach Darvin Ham is urging a measured perspective.

“It is what it is,” Ham remarked postgame. “It’s the NBA. This is a marathon. You have to look at the totality of the picture. I’m tired of people living and dying with every single game we play. It’s ludicrous actually.”

Ham emphasizes the need to view the team’s performance over the long term, refusing to sound the alarm bells prematurely.

“It’s like come on, man, this is a marathon and we hit a tough stretch. It’s the same team that we played some high level games a little while ago, and we just got to get back to that. We got to keep fighting through; we cannot lose our fight.”
