Paul George showcased his scoring prowess with six 3-pointers, leading the Los Angeles Clippers (22-12) to their fifth consecutive victory, a convincing 111-95 triumph over the New Orleans Pelicans (21-15) on Friday night.

Kawhi Leonard contributed 19 points and nine rebounds, complementing George’s stellar performance. The Clippers, guided by James Harden’s 13 assists and eight points in just 29 minutes, continued their impressive run with their 14th win in 16 games.

Jonas Valanciunas recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Pelicans, whose four-game winning streak came to an end. Jordan Hawkins added 13 points off the bench in a quick burst of seven minutes.

The Clippers’ suffocating defense proved pivotal, holding the Pelicans’ top scorers, Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson, to just 12 points each. Williamson left the game in the third quarter with a right leg contusion, later confirmed as not serious by Pelicans coach Willie Green.
