Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla was pleased with the group’s offensive pace during their recent West Coast road trip (3-1 record).

“I think you look at who we are as a team, and you look at the league in general, switching slows teams down. It’s done that to us in the past, it slows you down and makes you play a half-court game. And it’s going to come down to a half-court game at times, but can we still play with the type of speed that we want to? Can we still create two-on-one advantages? Can we see those quickly? So we talk about playing fast, it’s more about seeing the game at a fast pace understanding how we have to play, and I thought this trip we kind of got better at that.”
