Gabe Vincent, the guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, is set to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee this week.
The procedure comes after attempting non-surgical methods for knee rehabilitation. Vincent, who recently made a comeback for one game after a 23-game hiatus, experienced swelling in his left knee post-game.
As a result, he has been sidelined for the last two games, and the expected recovery time from the upcoming surgery is estimated to be 6-8 weeks.
Vincent, who joined the Lakers this season from the Miami Heat, had signed a three-year, $33 million deal with the hope of becoming a key player in the team’s rotation.
