The New York Knicks have addressed their frontcourt needs by securing a two-way contract with center Dmytro Skapintsev, as announced by Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

With Mitchell Robinson and Jericho Sims sidelined due to injuries, the addition of Skapintsev brings crucial size and depth to the Knicks’ center position.

Skapintsev, a 25-year-old center, has showcased his skills this season with the Worchester Knicks, averaging 5.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 18.6 minutes per game.

Skapintsev has previously plied his trade in professional leagues in Ukraine and Lithuania. In 2022, he made the move to the United States to join the Worchester Knicks, marking a significant step in his basketball journey.
