NBA insider Shams Charania drops a bombshell, suggesting that Jonathan Kuminga could permanently claim Draymond Green’s starting spot for the Golden State Warriors.

The revelation comes on the heels of Green’s indefinite suspension for a flagrant foul against Jusuf Nurkic, opening the door for Kuminga to step into the starting lineup temporarily.

However, Charania hints that this change might become a long-term strategy even upon Green’s return.

On “Run It Back,” Charania emphasized the organization’s need to prioritize the best decision, pointing toward Kuminga as a potential fixture in the starting lineup moving forward.

“You have to make the best decision for the organization, and that means going with Jonathan Kuminga moving forward,” he said.

This season, the 21-year-old Kuminga is averaging 11.9 points and 3.5 rebounds in 20.5 minutes per game.

In comparison, Green, the veteran forward, holds stats of 9.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.8 assists in 25.1 minutes per game.
