In a thrilling clash, the Brooklyn Nets (13-10) secured a 116-112 victory over the Phoenix Suns (13-11), dominating the court despite Devin Booker’s impressive 34-point performance.

Cam Thomas led the Nets with 24 points, complemented by Mikal Bridges’ impactful return to the desert with 21 points.

The Nets, on a hot streak with seven wins in their last nine games, faced a resilient Suns team in a closely contested matchup.

Spencer Dinwiddie played a crucial role in the Nets’ victory, hitting a clutch 3-pointer to put his team up 112-106 with 1:54 left. Dinwiddie contributed 16 points and secured the win with a layup in the closing minutes.

The Suns fought hard to narrow the gap, cutting it to 114-112 with 28 seconds remaining. However, Cam Thomas, with nerves of steel, sank two crucial free throws with 3 seconds on the clock, sealing the Nets’ triumph.

The game marked a significant moment for the Suns as their All-Star trio, comprising Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal, played together for the first time this season.

Despite the trio’s notable contributions—Booker’s 34 points, Durant’s 27, and Beal’s 14—the Suns couldn’t overcome the Nets’ resilience.

Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson’s return to Phoenix, playing against their former team after the trade that brought Durant to the Suns last season, added an emotional layer to the game.

Both players received a heartfelt ovation during a tribute video before the tip-off, highlighting their significant contributions to the Suns’ journey to the 2021 NBA Finals.
