The new FIBA Europe Cup brand identity for the upcoming 2015-16 season was officially unveiled by FIBA Europe on Tuesday.

The design, which includes the competition’s official logo, court branding, uniform badges and TV graphics, has been developed ahead of the start of the season which tips off on 27 October.

The concept behind the new logo uses FIBA colours and rounded dynamic shapes of a basketball in abstract context. It is clear, easy to read and has high recognition value.

FIBA Executive Director Europe Kamil Novak commented: “The new logo is simple and clean but at the same time a rather powerful design which is easy to incorporate and understand. We are very pleased with the result and we believe that all participating clubs will be too.”

FIBA Europe Cup is FIBA’S new second-level competition for clubs in Europe. In its first year it will involve 56 clubs.
