Olympiacos dealt with some injury setbacks recently, but there’s good news as Nigel Williams-Goss is nearing a return to action.

According to coach Georgios Bartzokas, the American guard is expected to join team practices soon and is likely to make his comeback against Karditsa in the Basket League next week.

Williams-Goss has been sidelined since the game against Maccabi on November 14, where he suffered an injury in the first half after just eight minutes of play.

The initial estimate of him missing about a month of Olympiacos’ competitive games seems to be on point.

In the meantime, Olympiacos made strategic moves in the market, bringing in Naz Mitrou Long and Filip Petrusev.

While Mitrou Long has already joined the team, Petrusev, a Serbian center from the NBA, is yet to make his debut in the red and white jersey.

Bartzokas mentioned that he hasn’t participated in team practice as of now, so his debut will have to wait a bit longer.
