The Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic shared his experience of feeling well-rested despite playing 46 minutes in his comeback game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
He mentioned having a refreshing sleep the night before, highlighting it as the best in three days with 4 to 5 hours of rest.
Despite expressing initial exhaustion to coach Jason Kidd within the first few minutes, he ultimately communicated that he felt good and assured them he wouldn’t be limited to 35 minutes as initially thought.
“Yesterday was probably the best day I slept in three days, about 4-5 hours,” Doncic said. “It was really good for me based on the other two days.
“I told J-Kidd in the first 2-3 minutes I was exhausted. I was like ‘I’m not making 35 minutes today’. I just told him, I’m good.”
