Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic remarked on the Thunder’s intensified focus on him and Kyrie Irving, noting that they’ve observed a concerted effort from the opposing team.
He mentioned the Thunder’s effective strategy of collapsing the paint, with nearly five defenders converging whenever they drive, which has posed challenges for their offense.
“I think there’s a focus on us… They collapse the paint very well. When we drive it, they’ll collapse the paint almost 5 guys. I think that’s been difficult for us,” Doncic said.
