In a commanding display, the New Orleans Pelicans (7-7) ended the Sacramento Kings’ (8-5) six-game winning streak with a resounding 129-93 victory on Monday night.

Brandon Ingram, hitting all five of his 3-point attempts, led all scorers with 31 points, while Zion Williamson dominated the paint with 26 points on an efficient 12-for-16 shooting.

Sacramento’s Harrison Barnes contributed 16 points, and De’Aaron Fox added 14 for the Pacific Division-leading Kings.

Notably, Fox and Domantas Sabonis, who recorded a double-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists, did not play in the fourth quarter.

The Kings, playing the second game of a back-to-back after a win at Dallas on Sunday, faced challenges with injuries. Keegan Murray and Chris Duarte both suffered injuries, impacting the team’s performance in the second half.

Ingram’s outstanding third quarter, where he scored 18 points, including all four of his 3-pointers, played a pivotal role in snapping the Kings’ six-game winning streak.

Williamson, returning from a rest day, contributed significantly in the second quarter, scoring 18 points and helping the Pelicans secure a 66-53 halftime lead.
