In a celebratory night for basketball nostalgia, the New York Knicks clinched their third consecutive victory, defeating the Charlotte Hornets 122-108 on Saturday.

The highlight of the evening was the halftime tribute to Baron Davis, a seasoned player who graced both franchises during his illustrious 13-year career.

Davis, selected as the No. 3 pick by Charlotte in 1999, was recognized as a “Hornets Legend” in honor of Charlotte’s 35-year anniversary of NBA basketball.

The ceremony paid tribute to Davis’s impactful six-year tenure with the Hornets/New Orleans Pelicans, where he earned two NBA All-Star selections before the team’s relocation to New Orleans after the 2001-02 season.

Beyond his time with the Hornets, Davis’s basketball journey continued with notable stints at the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the New York Knicks.
