In a thrilling NBA In-Season Tournament clash, De’Aaron Fox stole the show, scoring a season-high 43 points and leading the Sacramento Kings to a 129-120 victory over the San Antonio Spurs.

Despite Fox’s stellar performance, attention was also on Spurs rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama, who contributed an impressive 27 points.

The Kings, now 2-0 in West Group C, faced a formidable challenge from Wembanyama, prompting Fox to label him as an “extremely special player.”

“He’s a special player, extremely special player. When he’s rolling, you have to be under him because if they throw the ball up, there’s literally nothing you can do,” Fox said about Wembanyama, per Paul Garcia.

The 19-year-old French center is maintaining an impressive stat line, averaging 19.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 30.1 minutes per game.
