Milwaukee Bucks head coach Adrian Griffin discussed the high basketball IQ of veteran Khris Middleton following Monday’s 118-109 home win vs. the Chicago Bulls (13 points/6 rebounds/2 assists/1 steal/6-10 FG/1-5 3-PT).

“He’s a calming presence out there, and he’s also another coach out there. He and I sometimes will look at each other, and he’ll just say, ‘Hey, I got it.’ He’s always on point. He ran one of our sets where he got the switch and they threw it into him when we needed a bucket. The way he sees the game I think he’ll make a great coach one day, in my opinion. But he’s one of those players that’s been around, he knows what to do, doesn’t get rattled, you can’t speed him up, and he’s a pro. So, he’s definitely an extension of the coaching staff out there on the floor.”
