Atlanta Hawks head coach Quin Snyder discussed the high level play of Trae Young following Thursday’s 120-119 NBA Mexico City Game victory vs. the Orlando Magic (41 points/4 rebounds/8 assists/3 steals/12-27 FG/5-15 3-PT/12-13 FT/scored 33 points in the first half).

Reporter: “Trae Young equaled the mark for most points in a game in Mexico and he also gave the last assist to Dejounte [Murray], what can you say about Trae’s performance tonight?”

Snyder: “We’ve talked a lot about him continuing to take his 3s and that will set up some of the other things that are available. I really thought in the second half when the ball wasn’t going in from 3 as much, his ability to drive the ball and look for other people was huge for us. So he’s a competitor and he’s been grinding, he really has. I feel like he’s had some really good games. Tonight, he got to see the ball go in the basket, and he deserves that because he’s kept a really great focus in defending and doing all those things and trying to make other people better.”
