Los Angeles Lakers’ forward Jared Vanderbilt is set to be sidelined for a minimum of two weeks following a re-examination of his left heel bursitis by the Lakers’ medical team, as reported by Brad Turner.

Despite showing signs of improvement, Vanderbilt’s injury necessitates a cautious approach, prompting the team to monitor his progress over the coming weeks before providing further updates on his condition.

Last season the 24-year-old forward averaged 7.2 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 24 minutes per game for the Purple and Gold.
