Baskonia suffered three consecutive defeats and aims to make a comeback in Athens against Panathinaikos.

Nonetheless, the challenge becomes even more formidable due to the absence of Nikos Rogkavopoulos and Dani Diez, who won’t be part of the team traveling to Greece for the EuroLeague Round 5 match due to muscle injuries.

“The tests carried out on Nikos Rogkavopoulos, after not being able to complete yesterday’s training, have confirmed an injury to the inner calf of his right leg. In the case of Dani Díez, who suffered a blow during the last game, the tests have determined an injury to the soleus of his right leg,” as stated by Baskonia.

Both athletes are currently undergoing rehabilitation with the club’s medical team, and the progress they make will dictate the duration of their recovery.
