Baskonia has announced the departure of Dani Diez after two seasons.
The 31-year-old small forward joined the team in 2022 and has been a consistent presence on the roster.
Last season, Diez averaged 2.4 points and 2.1 rebounds in 12 minutes per game in the EuroLeague.
Diez played 117 games for Baskonia, with 62 appearances in Liga Endesa and 55 in the EuroLeague.
Baskonia expressed gratitude for Diez’s contributions over the past two seasons and wished him the best in his future endeavors.
Diez’s departure marks the end of his stint in Vitoria-Gasteiz, where he spent a crucial part of his career. Baskonia will now look to adjust their lineup as they prepare for the upcoming season.
