The ongoing trade discussions between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Philadelphia 76ers have placed Terance Mann in the spotlight, with the Sixers showing a keen interest in including the talented shooting guard in the potential James Harden trade deal.

Despite the persistent rumors, Clippers head coach Ty Lue recently quashed any speculation regarding Mann’s departure, asserting the team’s commitment to the 27-year-old player.

In response to Lue’s supportive statement, Mann acknowledged the significance of the coach’s endorsement, recognizing the business nature of the sport.

He emphasized the need to stay focused and professional amidst the trade talks, highlighting the importance of maintaining a strong work ethic and dedication.

“It was real cool but at the end of the day it’s still a business like they say and teams make decisions on what they think is better for the teams and you can’t get too caught up in that, you know?” Mann told Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson.

“At the end of the day it’s your job to come in here and go to work and be a professional and so, I was just sticking to that.”

Mann expressed gratitude for Lue’s clarification, suggesting that the coach’s remarks primarily aimed to address the external noise and media speculations.

“Now I think that his clarification was a lot more the outside noise and the outside people talking about it — not so much for me because he knows that I have a good head on my shoulders and I going to come to work and play hard for him any day of the week because he’s one of the reasons why I’m here in this position,” he added.
