The New Orleans Pelicans have acquired Matt Ryan off waivers.

Ryan was waived from his two-way contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves as part of their roster cutdown, and the Pelicans have now signed him to a two-way deal.

Having previously played in NBA games with the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Timberwolves, Ryan has shown his three-point shooting prowess.

In 315 NBA minutes, he has made 33 of 89 three-point attempts, and he has maintained a 39.8% shooting accuracy from behind the arc over two G League seasons.
