Golden State Warriors’ star, Steph Curry, lauded the defensive prowess of teammate Gary Payton II during a recent preseason game against the Sacramento Kings, in which Curry clinched a game-winning three-pointer over De’Aaron Fox.

Curry joked that Fox’s defense posed no challenge to him during the crucial play, highlighting a conversation with Payton II, who mentioned that the defense he faces from Curry in practice is far more challenging.

“Gary said, ‘There’s no better defense than he plays on me in practice,’ so that was nothing,” Curry humorously remarked about his decisive shot.
