During a recent preseason matchup between the Portland Trail Blazers and the Phoenix Suns, Scoot Henderson, the third pick, had the opportunity to share the court with NBA legend Kevin Durant.
Despite leading the scoring with 22 points, the 19-year-old guard remained composed and unaffected by the presence of Durant, displaying a mature attitude on the court.
When questioned about whether the experience of playing against Durant had left him starstruck, Henderson confidently responded, “Nah. I ain’t starstruck. I ain’t gonna be starstruck, either,” per Sean Highkin.
