In an exciting development, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has been named the President of Reebok Basketball as the brand prepares for a category relaunch scheduled for early 2025, per Nick DePaula.

Joining Shaq in a prominent position is fellow icon Allen Iverson, who will assume the role of Vice President of Basketball.

Reebok’s CEO, Todd Krinsky, expressed the significance of these appointments, stating, “We’re bringing two of our legacy athletes together and having them be in real management positions. These guys deserve to be in the executive ranks of our company.”

O’Neal, the newly appointed President of Reebok Basketball, shared his vision for his role, emphasizing his intention to leverage his extensive network to forge connections between the brand and players. He aims to facilitate player development through their partnerships with Reebok.

“A big part of my role will be leveraging my network to build bridges, connect the brand with players, and help those players develop through their partnership with Reebok,” Shaq said.
