James Harden, in his quest to secure a trade to the Los Angeles Clippers, is prepared to exert maximum pressure on the Philadelphia 76ers, according to reports.

Despite his absence from the Sixers’ Media Day, Harden is expected to join the team for the training camp’s commencement.

His primary objective is to make the 76ers so uncomfortable with the situation that they ultimately feel unable to extract the best performance from him and opt for a trade.

“James Harden wants a trade. He wants to make the 76ers uncomfortable. So uncomfortable, ultimately, they don’t think they’ll get the best out of him and make a trade,” NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski said, per Evan Sidery.

Harden has a track record of employing this strategy successfully with both the Houston Rockets and the Brooklyn Nets in the past.
