The Miami Heat are gearing up for the upcoming NBA season with a renewed sense of purpose after their impressive run to the NBA Finals last year.
Heat center Bam Adebayo recently spoke during Media Day about the team’s mindset heading into the new season. When asked if it’s business as usual, Adebayo made it clear that there is a different vibe in the air.
“I wouldn’t say it’s business as usual,” Adebayo said, per ClutchPoints. “I feel like a lot of the guys have their own individual motivations. Take the 15 of us, plus the coaching staff, and even Pat Riley having his little exchanges in his office. So, I mean, you have a lot of motivation going into the season.”
Adebayo’s words highlight the hunger and determination within the Heat organization as they aim to build on their recent success and bring an NBA championship back to Miami.
