Bulls Hall of Famer Toni Kukoc recently shared his perspective on what could have been the most formidable duo in basketball history: Shaquille O’Neal and Michael Jordan playing on the same team.
In a conversation with Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson, Kukoc expressed his belief that a pairing of O’Neal and Jordan would have created an unparalleled powerhouse. “Best lineup ever assembled. It wouldn’t even matter who brings the ball up,” the Croatian legend emphasized.
Kukoc envisions an overwhelming force on the court, with their combined firepower proving insurmountable for any opponent. “There’s so much firepower there that I don’t think there would be ANY team that would compete with them,” he added.
In Kukoc’s eyes, the prospect of Shaq and MJ joining forces would be not just a formidable lineup but a game-changing alliance that would tip the scales of competition dramatically in their favor. As he succinctly put it, “Wouldn’t be fair.”
