Dennis Schroder guided Germany to triumph with a score of 85-82 over Australia in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023. Schroder’s extraordinary display of 30 points encompassed a pivotal basket that propelled Germany to an 83-81 lead, leaving just 46 seconds on the clock.

Despite Australia’s endeavors, the stalwart defense of Germany along with Maodo Lo’s contribution of 20 points ensured the attainment of victory.

This accomplishment was achieved even in the absence of Franz Wagner, who was sidelined due to injury during their preceding match against Japan.

“I was just trying to be aggressive,” said Maodo Lo. “I think those are moments when other players have to be aggressive and try to step up a little bit, so I was just trying to be a little more aggressive. It worked out for me today, and I was able to help the team. I’m happy about that.”
