Rudy Gobert hasn’t made a three-pointer throughout his entire professional play, but his latest participation for France in a tune-up match gave him a moment of his lifetime that he won’t ever forget.

Against Montenegro in a warm-up game for this year’s World Cup, the French big man had that golden opportunity to sink one from downtown, and he truly capitalized it for his first-ever long-range bucket in an official game.

Right at his postgame, Gobert can only feel in awe of unleashing a successful three-pointer – even echoing a hilarious analogy that garnered mixed reactions around the online basketball community.

This trey from Gobert is considerably the product of the recent three-point workouts he’s been performing. From there, it was already hinted that the star center is indeed planning to deliver a bomb for himself.

Gobert, who played 10 seasons so far in the NBA, bricked all of his 14 total attempts from three. Last season for the Minnesota Timberwolves, he fired three total attempts, but not even a single one sank.

Who knows what would happen next? But should Gobert develop and become an unthinkable sniper from a long distance for years to come, we can only look back at this moment of him as the focal reason for his offensive evolution.
