In a recent interview with SLAM, Bradley Beal, the former Wizards star who was traded to the Suns in June, discussed his personal goals for the upcoming basketball season. After averaging 23.2 points per game last season, Beal is determined to make a significant impact on both ends of the court.

When asked about his objectives, Beal expressed his desire to become one of the best two-way players in the League once again. He aims to compete at a high level, play meaningful games in the playoffs, and advance past rounds. The talented shooting guard is also focused on returning to his All-Star level of play, believing that he is an All-NBA caliber player.

“I haven’t really thought about my own goals yet, but I would say the biggest individual piece is getting back to being one of the best two-way players in the League,” Beal said. “Showing that I can really compete at a high level and play a meaningful game. You know, playing in the playoffs, winning in the playoffs, advancing past rounds. Granted, I wanna get back to my All-Star level of play. I really believe that that’s who I am: All-NBA guy, All-Star guy.”

Beal is thrilled about the opportunity to play alongside like-minded and competitive teammates who will push him to be the best version of himself every day. With this mindset and determination, the 30-year-old is poised to make a resounding impact in the upcoming season, leaving a lasting impression on the court.
