In a recent interview, 24-year-old Paul Reed, who recently signed a 3-year, $23.5 million deal with the 76ers, expressed his desire to see James Harden back with the team for the upcoming season.

Despite the 33-year-old Harden requesting a trade, with the Clippers as his preferred destination, Reed emphasized the strong bond he shares with the veteran player.

“James Harden, that’s like my big brother, one of the coolest vets I know,” Reed revealed, as reported by The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Keith Pompey. “I hope he comes back. But I understand business is business. And sometimes you got to do what you got to do. But like I said, that’s like my big brother. I hope he comes back.”

Reed’s heartfelt comments reflect the admiration and respect he holds for Harden, who remains an integral part of the Sixers’ legacy. As the 2023-24 season approaches, the team’s fans eagerly await further developments regarding Harden’s future with the organization.
