Here’s Indiana Pacers rookie Isaiah Wong at 2K24 Summer League talking about wanting to be a point guard in the NBA/learning from teammate Andrew Nembhard.

(via Indiana Pacers):

Discusses hopes of becoming an NBA point guard:

“Coming in this league, they told me I’ve gotta be a 1, and secondary is a 2, but I feel like for me to be the best player I can be is gotta be at the 1. Try to play make for other players and get everybody involved, and just try to help the team as much as possible.”

On Nembhard’s mentorship:

“I just watch him every day. Just how he comes off ball screens and just how he makes great passes. I’m learning from him every day. Sometimes I try to pick his brain, and he lets me know a little bit every day. But he’s been a great mentor for me. Just coming into practice, and now watching him in the games, is just a great help for me and is a great help for the team.”
