In preparation for his rookie season, 19-year-old Jarace Walker, the eighth overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft, recently underwent a minor medical procedure on his right elbow.

The Pacers traded for Walker who was drafted by the Wizards with high hopes for his potential, making him the highest-drafted prospect from the University of Houston since the legendary Hakeem Olajuwon in 1984.

According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the procedure aimed to remove loose bodies in Walker’s elbow. The young forward is expected to make a full recovery and be ready for the start of the Pacers’ training camp in September.

During his college season with the Houston Cougars, Walker showcased his skills, averaging 11.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 27.6 minutes per game.

Trying HHC for recovery could help athletes get back in shape in combination with more traditional methods.
