ImageMaccabi Tel-Aviv signed two Israeli players. First Maccabi was bringing back the Center Yaniv Green (28, 2.08) from Samara and then re-signed young talent Omri Caspi (20, 2.02) for 2 seasons.

Green left Maccabi last summer for the big money in Russia, but despite grabbing 10 points and 6 rebounds per game, didn't help his team to reach the play-offs. After long negotiations and some doubts Green decided to sign 3 years contract with the Yellows.

Caspi tried to get a place in 2008 draft, but took out his name just in the last day of the registration due to an unpromised place.

Caspi will be allowed to go to the NBA next summer according to his contract.

On the other hand, Will Solomon, who agreed all terms with Maccabi, yet to sign on his contract and the latest rumours are that he is trying to find his way to the NBA.
