The Phoenix Suns have continued to locate trade scenarios involving Cam Payne, per Jake Fischer of Yahoo! Sports.

Fischer pointed out that Indiana Pacers point man T.J. McConnell has emerged as a player under the radar for the Suns, and talks have appeared about executing a multi-team trade during this year’s Summer League.

Payne, 28, played his last three seasons with Phoenix. He established himself as a solid reserve guard for former Sun Chris Paul.

Last 2022-23, he averaged 10.3 points, 4.5 assists, and 2.2 boards in 48 regular season games.

The veteran guard will enter the final year of his contract as the Suns opted to fully guarantee his $6.5MM salary this upcoming 2023-24 season.
