Restricted free agent P.J. Washington is reportedly leaning towards accepting the Hornets’ qualifying offer if he can’t agree on a better deal with the team.

According to Sean Deveney of Heavy.com, the plan would then be for the 24-year-old power forward to test unrestricted free agency next summer.

Last season Washington averaged 15.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 32.6 minutes per game for the Hornets.
