The expectation is that Jaylen Brown and the Celtics will sign a five-year, $295 million super-max extension. However, the 26-year-old shooting guard will not immediately accept the offer, per Adam Himmelsbach of Boston Globe.
Brown has been included in various trade rumors. Earlier this year there have been some reports that the Rockets could make a run for him.
This past season Brown averaged 26.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 35.9 minutes per game.
