Baskonia has secured the services of talented point guard Nico Mannion, signing him to a two-year contract. The 22-year-old point guard joins Baskonia from Virtus, where he spent the past two seasons.

In his rookie campaign in the EuroLeague last season, Mannion averaged 5.9 points, 2.6 assists, and 1.4 rebounds in 19 games. Prior to that, he played a crucial role in Virtus’ triumph in the EuroCup.

Having started his professional career with the Warriors in the NBA and the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League, Mannion’s potential has been recognized at an international level. He represented the Italian national team in the Olympic Games in Tokyo, finishing second on the team in scoring and leading in assists.
