Jaden McDaniels has received “a ton of interest” around the league, but the Minnesota Timberwolves only “rebuffed every offer” made by rival teams according to Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic.

Added by Krawczynski, Minnesota remains committed to McDaniels as they view him as “a huge piece of the team’s long-term future.”

Possessing a lengthy frame and a stifling defensive acumen, McDaniels stapled himself as the Timberwolves’ ace defender. He averaged 12.1 points, 3.9 boards, and 1.9 assists last regular season per 30.6 minutes of play for 79 games.

His efficiency at the offensive end also increased as he shot a career-best 51.7 percent from the field and a 39.8 percent mark from threes.

McDaniels is a rookie scale extension eligible for Minnesota this offseason and is set to land a lucrative deal alongside Anthony Edwards.
