The Cleveland Cavaliers have picked up their 2023-24 team option on Lamar Stevens, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Stevens will earn over $1.9 million next season, but the amount will remain non-guaranteed until Jan. 10 based on the team’s front-office decision.

He averaged 5.3 points, 3.3 boards and shot 44.8 percent from the field for 62 games last season. He has been on the Cavs since the 2020-21 campaign.

The wingman will reach unrestricted free agency next year should he and the Cavaliers aren’t able to hammer an extension.
