The Nuggets won their first-ever NBA championship after defeating the Heat 4-1 in the Finals. For Denver’s shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope it was his second title – he won his first one in 2020 with the Lakers.

During the postgame press conference KCP said that he felt right from the beginning of the season that the team can go all the way.

“Everybody wants to run it back after you win. That’s up to the organization to bring back the players or whatever it is,” Caldwell-Pope said. “This team is special. I knew it from training camp and just been telling them all the way through training camp, the whole season ‘We can do this and just believe in ourselves and each other,'” he said just Nikola Jokic walked over and poured bear on his head.
