Tyler Herro (right hand) remains unavailable for the Miami Heat and will miss Game 2 of the 2023 NBA Finals this Sunday, per Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald.

Herro was already listed as out back on Saturday, but the Heat still has the chance to change his status based on the league rules.

According to coach Erik Spoelstra, despite Herro’s optimistic progress of rehabilitation, he hasn’t received a clearance yet from the team’s medical staff. As such, the hot shot guard will play in Wednesday’s Game 3 as the series shifts to South Beach for the continuation of the series

Caleb Martin, who missed the team’s last practice due to an illness, will continue to play. As such he will move off the bench as Kevin Love will take his place at the starting spot.

Miami will look to bounce back from their title series opener loss against the Denver Nuggets. Tip-off is set on 8PM ET.
