The Boston Celtics thrived on 3s and beat the Miami Heat 110-97 in Game 5 to extend the East finals. Derrick White scored 24 points and Marcus Smart added 23 points and five steals for Boston.
The Boston Celtics guard Derrick White said the team will have a tall task in front of them in Game 6, even after such a commanding effort in their win over the Heat on Thursday night.
“It’s going to be a grind,” said White on Game 6 Saturday in Miami. “They are going to come back and play well. It’s not going to be easy … we have to find a way to win.”
