The Philadelphia 76ers dismissed head coach Doc Rivers on Tuesday. Rivers led the Sixers to the Eastern Conference Semifinals in each of his three seasons on the job.
Philadelphia was eliminated in the Eastern Conference semifinals for a third straight season, losing 112-88 in Game 7 to the Boston Celtics on Sunday.
