With the Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Celtics and the 76ers coming to a decisive Game 7, Celtics guard Marcus Smart compared the game to a legendary boxing match.

“It’s Frazier and Ali,” Smart said vis Jay King, likening the matchup to the iconic boxing bouts between Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali. “You gotta be ready. Those first couple of rounds, teams are feeling good, round one, round two, we’re feeling good, they’re feeling good. Now it comes down, zero-zero, the last match, who’s going to win?”

Game 7 will be played in Boston. Smart has been a key player for Boston throughout the series, averaging 16.5 points, 4 rebounds, and 5.2 assists in 35.8 minutes over the first six games.

Last season, the Celtics reached the NBA Finals but lost against the Warriors. Smart and his teammates are determined to go one step further this year, and Game 7 against the 76ers will be a crucial test of their championship credentials.
