Anthony Davis delivered a dominant performance in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals agains the Warriors as he dropped 30 points and grabbed 23 rebounds. In addition, the superstar had 5 assists and 4 blocks.

According to Draymond Green, the whole team has to work in order to slow down a player like Davis and it starts with him.

“I think when you’re guarding a player like AD, it’s never going to be one guy that just shuts him down. It’s a team effort,” Green said. “As far as the match up goes, you got to take that hat on and I don’t think we did a great job of that tonight. Like I said, that starts with me.”

“He’s a great player,” Green said about Davis. “Very athletic, great rim protector. His shot was going tonight. He felt like he made every one of those mid-ranges he took. You got to live with some of those, but I think we can do a better job individually and collectively to take some of those away.”
