Zalgiris Kaunas is set to begin their EuroLeague playoffs against Barcelona tonight in Palau Blaugrana Arena. Before the game, Zalgiris TV presented a documentary film called “We’re Back”, which revealed behind-the-scenes details of the team’s journey to the TOP-8 stage of the competition.
The documentary film tells the story of Zalgiris’ preparation and performance in the decisive EuroLeague regular season game in Munich against Bayern. Cameras captured all the behind-the-scenes moments, from the last training session at the Zalgirio Arena before the journey to Kazys Maksvytis’ celebration after the victory in the locker room.
The film also features interviews with players and coaches, including Ignas Brazdeikis, who talked about the team’s ups and downs during the season, injuries, and new players that helped the team to succeed.
