Tyrese Maxey scored team-high 25 points for the 76ers in Game 3 against the Nets (102-97) as his team took a 3-0 lead in the first round series.

The 22-year-old point guard took over the game with a little over 3 minutes left to play in the fourth quarter. Philadelphia was down 89-92 when Maxey scored 10 straight points for his team.

After the game he talked what changed that allowed him to take over the game late in the fourth quarter.

“Down the stretch, knew because James [Harden] was out, I’d have the ball in my hand,” the Maxey said, via Sam DiGiovanni of ClutchPoints. “So once you have the ball in your hands, you kind of dictate where the ball goes. So trying to get it to Joel [and] if I can’t get it to Joel, trying to get in the paint make a play for somebody else or myself.”
